chiyoda-GV grew out of Chiyoda Building Service Co., Ltd., a cleaning company founded in 1981. Over more than 40 years working on buildings and spaces, we built deep expertise in spotting dirt, removing it, and bringing surfaces back to their best.
One day, holding an old guitar, we had a realization:
“Clean it up and it can live again in someone’s hands —
and it’s not just buildings that deserve that treatment.”
That insight — using our cleaning skills to restore old things — led us into the world of vintage. We started with guitars and plan to expand into furniture, audio equipment, and beyond.

For over 40 years we have cleaned and maintained buildings and facilities across Japan.

Years on the job sharpened our cleaning techniques and trained our eye — knowing exactly what a thing needs to look its best again.
A new venture
Realising our skills could restore vintage items as well as buildings, we launched chiyoda-GV — starting with vintage guitars.
What’s next
Building on the knowledge gained through guitars, we plan to expand into furniture, audio equipment, and other vintage categories.
The world is full of things dismissed simply for being old or dirty — things whose true value has been forgotten. Guitars, furniture, audio gear —— cleaned and cared for properly, their original beauty and presence always come back.
